Nathan A. Bowling is a Professor of Psychology at Wright State University, where he teaches within the industrial-organizational psychology Ph.D. concentration. He has authored over 60 peer-reviewed articles, many of which have appeared in top-tier journals, including the Journal of Applied Psychology, the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, and Organizational Research Methods. His research was featured in Joireman and Van Lange's (2015) American Psychological Association book on How to Publish High Quality Research. In 2017, he was listed among the top 2% of most cited authors in industrial-organizational psychology textbooks (see Aguinis et al., 2017), and in 2020 he was listed in Ioannidis, Boyack, and Baas;s (2020) database of the world's most cited scientists (top 2% both for career and for 2019 among business and management researchers). Nathan is a fellow of two professional organizations: the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) and the Association for Psychological Science (APS). He serves as an associate editor for the Journal of Occupational Heath Psychology and as an editorial board member of several other journals. As a PI, Nathan has been awarded over $950,000 in external funding since 2013.
Jason Huang is Assocciate Professor and Associate Director for Graduate Programs in the School of Human Resources and Labor Relations at Michigan State University. His substantive research addresses two broad content areas: (a) personality and adaptability at work; and (b) training and transfer and his methodological interest focuses on response effort and insufficient effort responding. Jason has published in top-tier journals such as Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Organizational Research Methods, Personnel Psychology, Psychological Bulletin, and Journal of Personality and Social Psychology. He is currently an associate editor for Journal of Management, while also serving on the editorial boards for Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Vocational Behavior, and Journal of Business and Psychology. He has been the recipient of the William A. Owens Scholarly Achievement Award by the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
Justin A. DeSimone is an associate professor of Management at the University of Alabama. He received his Ph.D. from Georgia Tech. Dr. DeSimone's career goals involve improving the understanding and conduct of research in organizational scholarship. His methodological areas of expertise include psychometrics, meta-analysis, and addressing common problems in measurement, including insufficient effort responding. His research primarily focuses on the accurate assessment of personality, attitudes, and perceptions across the organizational sciences. Dr. DeSimone has served as an associate editor for Organizational Research Methods and Journal of Organizational Behavior as well as on the editorial review boards for four different journals. Dr. DeSimone has served on the executive committee of the Research Methods Division of the Academy of Management, and he is a frequent contributor to the Consortium for the Advancement of Research Methods and Analysis (CARMA).
Alec C. Drabish is a graduate student in the industrial-organizational psychology Ph.D. program at Wright State University. He has presented his research at professional conferences such as the annual convention for the American Psychological Association. His research focuses on organizational justice, scale development, counterproductive work behavior, and insufficient effort responding.
